My apartment building has a terrible mouse problem. I thought I'd dent the population in a perhaps futile attempt at trapping the ones I could and releasing them outside. The trap worked the first time. I caught a little bugger and successfully let it go. All was well with that. The second time the mouse was seemingly paraplegic with a broken tail presumably from the violent action of the trap as it whisked the rodent into its bowels. The third time the mouse was caught half in half out in the gears and workings of the device. It was also fatally injured by blunt trauma to the back. Its hips and legs were snagged by the trap as it squealed and attempted to escape. The trap succeeds at trapping but I am not certain that it has much of a heart. Thanks!

Have a place in the country that mice just love. Had used the one mouse

electronic trap by Victor but if you cannot check it every day the mouse

would decay and you ended up tossing the whole thing away not cheap.

So upgraded with two of these traps one for the main floor

and another for the attic.

They have been in only for a few days and they are great both have

caught mice and could not be more pleased with a product. Now I can

be gone for a week or two and problem is solved. Hope to update this

review again and see how they work long term but so far a top notch

product.

Now March of 2011 and one unit has stopped working the other is

still doing its job.
